Heavy Equipment Diploma

1-Year Diploma Program - 35 Credits

If working on heavy machinery and agricultural and construction equipment is your focus, consider the 1-year Diesel Technology: Heavy Equipment diploma at Southeast Tech. The diploma can be combined with a second diploma in Trucking and general education courses to obtain an associate degree.

Students in the Heavy Equipment track will study auxiliary drive systems and the abnormalities in construction and ag equipment, electro hydraulics, powertrains and computer controlled systems. Each program course has a hands-on lab component where students practice their skill with mock-ups and live work in Southeast Tech's true-to-life diesel laboratories located in the Ed Wood Trade and Industry Center and in The HUB.
